10/09/11: League Praise For Dan Bridgman (Snrs)

After a fairly eventful summer of comings-and-goings in the Seniors, it was great to see Dan Bridgman (one of the very original HCFC Juniors) singled out by League Officer, Russ Muddox, for his excellent and gutsy performance on Sunday. Dan has been one of our most loyal and reliable players for club down the years and so it is worthy and welcome praise!

Mark/Dave

This morning (Sunday 11/09/11) I visited Sharnbrook to watch the match, and I’m delighted to point out the excellent performance of your goalkeeper, who I understand isn’t even your regular keeper!

Sharnbrook were comfortable against Harrold & Carlton but nevertheless your keeper turned in a superb display of brave keeping and kept the score line well down to what might have been.

I did congratulate him at the end of the match (In case he was wondering who I was?) for his efforts, and how young he was to turn in such an impressive show.

If you’ve got a better keeper waiting to return, then I’m sure things look fine for your club in future matches.

Please repeat my admiration to the lad for his guts and contribution to the match.

Regards as always,

Russ Maddox
