Football Club Health & Safety Reminders
- The whereabouts of your child remains your responsibility. A parent/nominated carer should be present throughout the whole session.
- Please keep children away from the inside of the shed due to the amount of equipment in there.
- Please don’t allow children to help themselves to footballs unless on the instructions of the coach, or use a football in an area where the ball may strike an unsuspecting player or spectator. Also keep an eye on this when setting up goals to avoid injury.
- Please take responsibility for your child’s equipment / clothes and water bottles / wrappers
- Please check for sharp studs to avoid injury
- Please ensure that corner flags / poles are not used as javelins or for any other reason aside from their purpose.
- Please do NOT allow your children to climb on any of the equipment especially the sightscreen, on or around the cricket field. Please ensure your opposing team is briefed as well to avoid any injury.
- Please be especially aware of all access points/gates/alleys onto the field.
- Please keep siblings within your control at all times to avoid interruption of coaching sessions and other safety issues.
- Car parking is a problem – please park considerately watching out for children. Even better, leave the car at home or at the Country Park!
If you have any H&S concerns, please speak to a coach or a member of the Committee.
Many thanks in advance for your co-operation. The safety of your children is our main priority.
